Wow, what a great collection! A nice grouping of old scorpions which I never heard before. You can really hear how they developed over the years. The first track is amazing. "It all Depends" sounds like old Cream with vocals a la Jack Bruce and the early Black Sabbath guitar. A really stand out track. 17 tracks on the first cd ending in Black Out/5(85).

A 2nd surprise cover song is "Drive". Yes, this is the song from The Cars. 'Acoustica' was done not long after the death of Cars guitarist/vocalist Ben Orr. Who knew the Scorps were fans? A nice tribute and one of the videos on disc 2. Of course All the Scorpion's Best /5().

From human pyramids to forks over the eyes, the Scorpions have made such a strong impression on hard rock over a period of half-a-century that now it’s impossible to recall a time when they weren’t around. Musically, they’ve had more than one distinct period. In the 70s, there was the Hendrix-inspired era, followed in the next decade by a style that became the template for million Missing: Transatlantic Bass.
